Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 113 of Austin MN

We are a volunteer-run club dedicated to providing fun and educational experiences for kids in K-5th grade, and are a part of the Scouting America organization.

Program

Our pack meets monthly for meetings and activities. 

Each grade (den) meets on Thursdays, during the school year, to earn patches, and adventure belt-loops. Scouts can also word on adventures with family.

Outdoor Adventures & Personal Fitness

 Respect for nature, learn skills, and foster a love for the outdoors.

 

Leadership & Character

Build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills through challenges.

 

Community 

Teach responsibility and empathy through giving back to the community.

How can I join Cub Scout Pack 113?

Click "Join" on the menu bar, then follow the link to the My Scouting website.

When we get the notification, you'll be emailed by your pack leader and den leader.

Is there a cost to participate in your programs?

There is an initial $125 joining fee, but payment plans or finantial assistance are available.

The pack covers the yearly renewal fee, provided the scout takes part in fundraising.  

When do you meet?

The dens meet on Thursdays during the school year.

The pack (full group) has at least one activity together every month.

We are outdoors as much as possible, but meet at St John's Lutheran Church during the winter.

Occationally, camps and special events occur on different days/at different times.

What if that meeting time doesn't work for us?

We are alwasy ready to grow and add new dens.

If there are scouts (and an adult leader) who would like to form early afternoon/weekend dens, we will get you set up!

Is this boy scouts? Are only boys allowed?

Cub Scouts is part of Scouting America, formally Boy Scouts of America.

Our pack accepts ALL children, K-5th grade.

When scouts continue on after 5th grade, they join a troop that matches their gender.

But we do have a relationship with our local girl scout group and sometimes do joint activities.
